John Colvert
John Baker Colvert was born in Dekalb County, Tennessee in 1957. He graduated from Dekalb County High School where he was president of the Student Council and captain of the football and baseball teams. John attended Carson Newman College on a football scholarship and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1981. John worked in management for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store for nearly 15 years. During his tenure at Cracker Barrel he trained other managers, and taught management classes for the company. He was also a store manager, and for 5 years held the position of district manager of the Nashville and Middle Tennessee locations. John has had his real estate and auctioneers license for 9 years. He enjoys working with buyers and sellers to find the right property to buy or sell whether it is by listing or the auction method. John has achieved the ABR designation becoming an Accredited Buyers Representative. He has sold and helped buy millions of dollars worth of real estate and will go the extra mile for you. John and his family are members of St. Marks United Methodist Church.
